Style Guide for the Christian Engineering Conference
Overall Requirements
Do a final spell check and grammar check on your paper before submitting.
Save the paper with a file name that starts with your last name followed by "CEC2019". For example, "jonesCEC2017.doc".
Formatting Requirements
Title Page
Title should be centered bold 16 pt Times New Roman with 6pt paragraph spacing after.
Author(s) should be next line in centered italic 12 pt Times New Roman with 0pt paragraph spacing.
List author names without titles (e.g., Ph.D., Dr., P.E., etc.).
Do not include your email address. These papers will be posted on the CEEC web site and SPAM engines may pick up your address.
Institution(s) should be next line in centered italic 12 pt Times New Roman with 6pt paragraph spacing after.
List institutions as simply as possible without address. A city and state can be listed if necessary to identify the institution accurately.
Headings
Top level headings should be left justified bold 12 pt Times New Roman with 12 pt paragraph spacing before and 6 pt paragraph spacing after.
Subheadings should be left justified italic 11 pt Times New Roman with 6 pt paragraph spacing before and 0 pt paragraph spacing after.
Body
The body of the paper should be left justified 11 pt Times New Roman with 0 pt paragraph spacing before and 6 pt paragraph spacing after.
References
References should be cited with superscript arabic numerals. The citation itself should be listed in the final section of the paper, titled "References". Each reference number should begin with the corresponding arabic numeral in square brackets. The text of the citation should be left justified 10 pt Times New Roman with 0 pt paragraph spacing before and 6 pt paragraph spacing after.
