Biomedical Engineering
Start Date: August 2019

The Engineering Department at Dordt College is currently seeking faculty members to teach engineering to support a growing engineering program beginning August 2019. The department seeks candidates with qualifications and experience in biomedical engineering or other related engineering discipline, with a willingness to teach general engineering, physics, and engineering science courses. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of industry and/or research experience. A master’s degree is required; a Ph.D. is preferred.

Electrical Engineering

Physics
Start Date: August 2019

The Physics Department at Dordt College is currently seeking a faculty member to teach physics and support a growing engineering program beginning August 2019. The department seeks candidates with qualifications and experience in general physics, and a willingness to teach some courses related to engineering or engineering science. A master’s degree is required; a Ph.D. is preferred.

Teaching post-doctoral position in Engineering and/or Physics
Start Date: August 2019

The Engineering and Physics Departments at Dordt College are currently seeking a faculty member to serve in a one- to two- year post-doctoral teaching position in their departments. In addition to having opportunities to teach, the post-doctoral candidate will receive excellent mentoring in teaching, research and scholarship in the setting of an undergraduate college, and towards the continued development of an integrally Christian perspective on their work. A master’s degree is required. A Ph.D. is preferred, with consideration to candidates with A.B.D. status.
